The following Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions on this site. By entering this Web Site and making your purchase, you accept these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
Prices and payments
All price’s and charges on this site are in UK pounds and include any VAT payable at the applicable rate unless we have specifically mentioned otherwise.
We accept payment by Visa, Master card, Delta and Switch by secure credit card transaction over the internet. Full payment for the product is deducted when we process your order. When your order has been processed we will send a confirmation of the order by e-mail with an order reference number and details of the products you have ordered.
Alternatively orders can be placed over the telephone on 01482 572852, from 9.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday where we also accept personal cheques or building society cheques, although cheques must be cleared before we can process your order.
(Sitting Easy can not process your order until you have paid for in full).
Delivery
Delivery must be to an address in mainland United Kingdom and excludes the Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Channel Island, Western Isles and Northern Ireland. Delivery estimates are given on each product throughout our web site.
When your order is complete and ready for delivery, we will contact you by telephone or e-mail to confirm the delivery date and if possible, an am or pm delivery slot. Your goods will be delivered to the property threshold, and we would advise you to make alternative arrangements for the actual positioning of the goods.
Important: We do everything we can to meet the delivery times specified. However occasionally, delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control. If we became aware of an unexpected delay we will inform you as soon as possible. If you do not wish to wait, we will refund you in full immediately in the same method you made payment.
Please be careful when opening the package and take your time to inspect the goods before signing for them. We take great care in packaging your goods to ensure you receive them in pristine condition. If in the unlikely event that the goods are damaged or faulty, you must sign the delivery note damaged on arrival and contact us immediately by telephone or e-mail.
Delivery personal have a difficult task nowadays with traffic congestions etc, so we do ask you to be considerate to them.
Tracking your order
You can track the progress of your order by telephone or e-mail.
Cancellation and return of goods
You can cancel your purchase at any time either before or up to 7 working days after the goods are delivered. To give notice of cancelation you must do so in writing by e-mail or letter. You must return the goods to us with the original packaging and pay for that return. It is your statutory duty to take reasonable care to ensure that we receive the goods, and the goods are not damaged in transit.
If you follow the steps above you will receive a full refund within 30 days of cancellation.
Faulty goods
If the Goods you purchase are faulty, we may offer a repair, exchange or refund as appropriate in accordance with your legal rights. Please e-mail us or call 01482 572852 to arrange. We will endeavour to respond within 5 working days, whereupon we will provide a likely time scale to resolve. Important - this promise does not cover faults caused by accidental damage, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear. Please read Care & Maintenance.
Privacy
Sitting Easy does not disclose buyer’s information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item. If you have any queries regarding our privacy policy, please contact us. All information gathered is collected lawfully and in accordance with the legal provisions concerning data protection.

At Sitting Easy we try very hard to ensure that all the information on our site is accurate, however occasionally errors can occur.
If we discover an error in the price, description of a product or something became unavailable you have ordered, we may cancel the order at any time up to the point we send the product(s) to you.
If we became aware of an error we would contact you as soon as possible and ask if you wish to continue with your order at the correct price or offer you an alternative if the product is unavailable. If in the event you wish to cancel your order you will receive a full refund on any charges you paid in advance.
Please note that due to the various thickness of the upholstery fabrics used, dimensions on this site should be regarded as approximate only.
