How to choose the height of chair for you! (A TO B)
The seat height is the measurement from the floor to the top of the seat cushion. To find out your ideal seat height, measure the length of your leg from behind your knee at the bend, to floor (your feet should be flat on the floor) remember that if you sit in slippers or shoes these must be taken in to consideration.
How to choose the depth of seat to suit you! (C TO D)
The depth of seat is the measurement from the front of the seat cushion, to the inside back of the chair. The ideal seat depth is the measurement from the base of your spine to the bend at the back of your knee. (C to D).
Tip: Sit on a straight back dinning chair. With your back firmly against the inside back of the chair, measure the distance from the base of your spine to the bend behind your knees at seat level.
Every piece of upholstery we supply has to pass stringent British Standard tests and comply with all current fire retardancy regulations.
